Sterlington, LA – The Global Directory of Who’s Who is proud to recognize Dr. Sara Grandy, a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with St. Francis Medical Group, for her dedication to comprehensive, compassionate care and her outstanding commitment to global medical missions. Dr. Grandy provides quality healthcare for children, teens, adults, and adults over 65, emphasizing preventative medicine and personalized treatment for every stage of life.
Dr. Grandy earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine and completed her residency in the Lake Charles Family Medicine Program, where she served as Chief Resident for the 2020–2021 academic year. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians. Her professional interests include geriatrics, preventative medicine, and mission-based care, reflecting her lifelong passion for service.
Deeply rooted in her faith and compassion, Dr. Grandy has completed three mission trips—a non-medical mission to Zimbabwe, Africa, and two medical and children’s missions in Honduras. Growing up in Newfoundland, Canada, as the daughter of pastors, she learned from an early age the values of adaptability, empathy, and community service.
Dr. Grandy has been married for three years and is the proud mother of two sons and one daughter. Outside of her professional and missionary work, she enjoys traveling, gardening, fishing, and spending quality time with her family.
